Default Power windows/locks don't work

During my last drive in the vette before winter the power window would go down but not up. While playing with it I ended up with a window in the down position. Now that the car is in the garage I took off the door panel and while activating the switch pushed up on the bottom of the glass and it went up. So I thought ok I’ll grease the tracks since they are 33 years old. I have a number of things to do to the car another is to fix the power antenna. I was checking the relay to see if it worked and yes it did but while reaching over the seat I got a spark from contacting the 2 connections. Ok... so now the power windows and locks don’t work. I thought I had blown a fuse but the relay still works. Any thoughts?

Don't know about the lock problem, but my passenger side window acted the same way and it turned out to be the switch on the console. Replaced the switch and it worked fine.

I have the same problem once in a while and it is the switch in the console. I just bang it and it works fine. I guess I should replace it.

Switch is most common, easiest and cheapest to do. Even if a test meter shows good, it can be bad. Windows draw a lot and tested good switches fail under load.

Be careful on greasing tracks. Too much and it just holds dirt and jams. That happened to me requiring removal and cleaning.
