I put a set of those on my 84. No, the insides don't stay red for long! And they sound great if you have the cat still on. If you pull the cat, you might as well be running straight pipes! I had my cat removed and replaced with a true-dual 2.25" system and had to switch to 50 series flowmasters to keep my sanity!

I LUV the new sound!!!! I still have the cats on...so got the real ''throaty'' rumble now....*chuckle*..not too sure what it sounds like at higher speeds...haven't had the chance to find out .....yet......but will letchas know. :).....if it is ''loud'' can always turn up the stereo! :yesnod:

...and you would be right!!! Left some ''room''....not sure if the new ZR-1 rear bumper is goinna be lower or not.....so to be on the ''safe'' side...let myself some ''breathing'' room. :yesnod:

Looks very :cool: Rose. That is going to be one wicked ride when finished! I just ordered pair of Stahl headers and then it's time to start making custom sidepipes.

I haven't really given much thought to the ''power'' part yet....Rosie runs so damn good...kinda leery about touching anything!! I think when the time does come...will just pull the motor and replaced it with a 502 or the equivilent...Hubby said I could have his LT1 if he even decides to go for more ''power'' in the C4! :yesnod:
