electrical corrosioin
on battery terminals, obviously clean them up completely, test, then spray with 'Fogging Oil'....that product is intended for boat engines stored over the winter or for a long time...what you supposed to do is fast idle the engine and spray into the air induction directly, no air cleaner...untill engine dies....
tape it up and forgetaboutit....
works fine on battery terminals, or chassis grounds not directly in the wind weather patterns....for those spots, I recommend RTV, as usual for any insulation or anti corrosion properties...works good as a glue also...over clean painted surfaces, comes off with mineral spirits easily....
on electrical connections/plugs/sockets in the harness, I recommend WD40 for a start then work the connectors back and forth a bunch....and or a wire brush to clean tips with...sometimes it's nearly impossible to clean them well....
again the fogging oil can help if applied sparingly over clean solid connections...
in other cars, rusted battery trays???? fogging oil about once every year/6 months....this is no good for show cars, but for daily drivers...it's great...
