Heater/AC Control replacement
I will be replacing my heater/AC control in my 71 in a few weeks. Anyone ever do this? Just how hard is it? Anything I need to keep an eye out for? Thanks for any help.

It is pretty straight forward. Just take your time and don't force anything. Remove the shift ball(s). remove console trim plate and then the control panel screws, now slide the temp cable off of the little post so you won't bend it. unplug the vacuum connector and electrical connectors and you are done.. :cheers:

Just had mine out to clean and repaint it. It looks good. I would suggest rebuilding it rather than replacing if you are as cheap as I am. The parts are readily available and you can save some $$ for other parts.
