Map Pocket Installation
I stuck the ears on the map pocket through the slots on the dash panel, what holds them in place? Do you run a wire between the brass grommets or something?

So, I guess the springs attach to the 2 screws on the raised pieces?

Or go to Home Depot or a Hardware store and pick up two small springs.

LOL, that's what I did. They were probably stiffer than the correct springs, but I want to put the dash pad on and go for a drive this weekend, it's supposed to be nice

I know the feeling, the spring that holds my drivers door open just broke.
It will just stay that way until I need something else.

I just bought the map pocket this week and I thought it came with the hardware. I would have gladly paid the extra 6 bucks had I known.

Hey Psycho Dad - I did the same thing, ordered the map pocket and did not realize it did not come with new springs. Can you tell me what size spring you p/u at Home Depot? Would rather go before I remove dash pad. Thanks.

I don't remember now, seems like they were 3/4 -1" long.
I went to a small hardware store and got the smallest ones they had.
Hope this helps

Thats sad. The one I had came with springs, and even the screws...
