I just bought the full car conversion to convert my 81 lip seal calipers to o-ring from vbandp. I searched on here but can't find a how to or step by step on how to do this. Does anyone know where I can find one. Or does anyone have any tips or pointers? Thanks in advance
Forgot to mention....if you're using o-rings you don't need to install the springs behind the pistons. (you can if you want...they just won't do anything)

Yes, since you'll no doubt want to split the calipers apart to rebuild them, I recommend loosening the caliper half bolts while the caliper is still mounted to the car. It makes breaking these bolts loose a lot easier than trying to do it on a bench... unless you're using an impact wrench, in which case... never-mind!
Oh, and remember where the bleeders go and where the plugs go (write yourself a note), it will make reassembly a whole lot easier.
Good luck, it's not as difficult as it seems at first. After you've done one of them, the rest go a lot faster.
The information on the link was pretty good. I found a good tip on the instructions to pre bleed the calipers by filling them with fluid. I think that will save some time when going through the process.
That's for all the info and tips. Unfortunately my calipers are already off the car cause I'm redoing the suspension. So I guess I will have a little harder time getting the bolts out to separate them. I'm just waiting for the o-ring kit to come in and then I can get started
