How to open hood

I have a 75 Vette and only the passenger side will pop, anyone have any idea how to get the hood open and how to adjust it?

If the passenger side is open you should be able to lift it enough to move the linkage, if not the is a small rubber plug that you can reach behind the firewall in front of the driver side, search this site it's on here,Ron

Its a bit fiddly and I found that although I could activate the lever to release the hood it still would not lift
I resorted to cutting a spanner (believe 7/16" ) and driving into the end of an aluminium tent pole making a 4'.0" spanner and from the passenger side loosened the drivers side hood stop which allowed it to open Phew!!!

Thanks for all the info, however still cant get it. I pulled the cable under the hood, and everything else and still drivers side wont pop!!!

I have opened them going through the side "gill" just take it off and use a long pry bar , look at the cable and you will see the way to move the mechanism. Ron
