C3 start relay issue
I have a '79 L48 that I've owned since '86. Seems I have been blowing relay on right side fire wall. Not good, won't start, but will with remote start switch. after roll back tow bill I now carry at least 2 in glove box. I un hooked ac compressor wire no help replaced heater fan switch, no help anyone else having this problem or am I just lucky Thanks bisomjoe

There is a metalic relay in the center of the right half of the firewall mounted high. top wire plug is blue brown red (heavy wire) bottom plug is black & orange lite wire. Maby you could have a talk with the Chineese relays about blowing. This has been an issue for quite some time, seems to be getting more frequent. I do know that if I replace the relay it will start and operate for a while, If I put the old relay back in no start. In indiana we refer that to a blown relay. Thankls Joe
