I'm trying to remove my A/C compressor and have all the bolts removed but the compressor will only wobble at the top rear bolt hole and will not come loose. It appears that there is a split bushing in the bolt hole of the bracket and extends into the bolt hole of the compressor for some reason. The end of the bushing is flush with the outside of the bracket as it should be so that means that it hasn't slipped or worked it's way into the compressor hole. Has anyone had a similar problem removing theirs?

You need to get a skinny long screw-driver. Place it from the front hole, and with a hammer gently tap the bushing out of the comp. I've done it several times.
Thanks Dave, That did the trick. The bushing was in the compressor about 1/8 inch. A couple of light taps and the bushing moved enough for the compressor to seperate from the bracket. Problem solved !!!

Glad I could help someone on the board. Yeah that bushing is a mother. When I had my brakets powder coated, it got in the way several times taking the compressor in and out.....
