Default clutch linkage problem

I have a 1980 vette I pulled out the anemic 190 Hp stock motor and replaced it with a Bluepint crate motor 385 Cu. in. 330 Hp aluminum head motor. I went to a Lakewood blowproof bellhousing with a Zoom clutch. All of the motor mounts and trans. mounts line up perfectly. The clutch arm is right against the firewall and will not move to accuate the clutch. Other than the possibility of having the wrong throwout bearing, long versus short is their any reason this is messed up? I would appreciate any help in reserecting this situation, thanks.....

Yes you pivot ball inside the bellhousing is to short. A common problem when going to a Lakewood bellhousing. You need the longer one or an adjustable one.
