Guys- what is involved in switching from solid to glass tops on my '76?
I was told that there was a difference in the latch setup.

Wade, basicly you change the rear latch from a post with a star end to a late model style that accepts a pin (which interchanges with two screws) then adjust the tops as you would any new top to fit the car. Refer to a GM Shop Manual for directions. The '78 - '82 tops use the late model latches if you need a donor car to supply your rear piece.
If you need a set of glass tops I have two sets for sale, Blue LOF '78 - '81 laminated and a set of '82 tempered bronze. Both are nice sets. $600.00 for either set. JIM
