Default Koni Shox

I just installed my new Koni adjustable shox - they're great! This is my second set; the first set was also on a '71 Vette. I had KYB Gas-A-Just on the car and they were just too spongy. You want true performance, go for a set of adjustables!

PS - I'm sure that QA1 and the otehrs are great also.

Do you have the Koni Classics? What setting are you using? I have these shocks and have yet to change from the base setting.

I'm picking these up soon. Koni's having a sale until the end of May and they're not much more than Bilsteins.

Johnt365 - I have mine set to the firmest setting. I may back them off a bit but not for a while. I really like how the rear isn't spongy any more. I'll be autocrossing in May so I'll get a good feel for the performance under harsh conditions. I paid $450 thru Summit.

PS - I am running a 420 lb spring in the rear which isn't shock friendly anyway. :-)

I have got to get me a set of these! I have the QA1's on mine with the F-41 package and their fine, but with those springs, who notices shocks

The classic Koni was stock on my BOSS 302, but they were long gone by the time I got it. I now have a set of Bilstiens on it but I want to go back to original, and everyone that has 'em likes them a lot.
