All, I wanted to ask for your thoughts/prayers since I have a rather important Dr's appointment tomorrow.
The reason I ask what I normally wouldn't ask for is because this appointment determines if I have to have surgery before graduation. If I do, I have to have it fast...since it is a minimum of 6 weeks before I can be cleared to fly, and I start pilot training on 14 June 02 (graduation is 29 May 02).
Sorry to hear that rainman, USAF academy and all, flight training...ton's of fun....
I had surgery on my butt some 20 years ago, broke it in a fall from the deck of my boat onto a parking lot pavement...
Doc said parts of me were now perfect, and if anyone questioned that to drop my pants and show them my scars....
sadist....had me laughing, hurting, lying there in bed....
butt all bloody and all, hurt like hell....so he makes it worse....sadist....
so anyway, i'ts amazing what 'it' is connected to...hurt to move my little finger....and NO it wasn't up there either....
You'll be just fine. As a USAF vet and former corpsman, I can tell you that you're in good hands. Any chance of flying the new F-22 Raptor or will you have to slum it and poke holes in the sky with that ancient F-15 Eagle. Man, what I wouldn't give.....
Thanks all! I am scheduled for surgery on 7 May, and it should not impact my pilot training date...I'm just going to take it real easy the last 3 weeks of school.
Well, there's a good chance of flying the F-22, if I decide to (and have the marks to) go for it...but I'm rather interested in another "old clunker"...
