I really appreciate all the feedback on my original post. There are going to be a bunch of hot looking C3s rolling on these new wheels. Let's get them all mounted and create an AR 136 post with all the great pics. Looking forward to picking mine up today and getting em on! With the 15x8 rims are 50's on the rear a problem and run the 60's up front? Any tire experts out there who would know what size 50 series would be safe to clear the rear well. No body damage is the key here. Lets swap some stories of the AR experiance and all the great comments people make when they see your car with them on. One hot rim for one hot ride. Wouldn't have it any other way. Right On C3 brothers and sisters! Z MAN salutes U all! :chevy
I just put 17x8 AR Torq Thrust II's on my '74 on monday :D:D:D
I used some Flaken GRB-FK451 245/45/17's....I"m going to be taking some
pictures once the sun comes out and it stops raining....*shrug*
but i can tell you now they look
Ever since I saw these wheels on that white 75 here on the Forum.. I've been crazy about them  but couldn't afford em. I can't wait to get them. I'll try to post pics when my engine rebuild is done, with the 136's mounted. (even if it's still up on stands... I'm mounting them!!!)
Thanks again for the info....
Toasting to you in IL.

I got mine in just one day. :D Now to deside what tires to put on em.....
I currently run 275/50/15s on my car. The 50 refers to the height of the sidewall as a ratio of the width. So 50s, for a given width, aren't as tall and won't come near the fenders. After I moved the E brake bracket I think I could go as wide as 295/50/15s with no problem. The fender is not the issue, the trailing arm is.
