Astro top cracked
I recently bought a used Astro top from someone. When it was shipped, it broke at both corners. Each break is about a foot long triangle. Has anyone heard of any way to repair acrylic? If I can't find a way to do it, I think I'm going to take it to a glass company with a pair of old tops and see if they can make moonroofs out of them. I would rather fix it though. Any suggestions?

I have one also and pretty much bought it to get me by until I can redo my glass tops. I wouldn't really depend on it too long. It's alot cheaper than I actually thought it would be even though I was warned on here. I guess I expected more but in this case you don't get what you pay for in my honest opinion. Heck if I had it to do over again I probably wouldn't waste my money on em but I had to have something and it does work for now so I'll deal with it. As far as fixin yours the only thing I could recommend would be some clear epoxy. 3M products are always the best as far as I'm concerned. They've never let me down yet as long as you follow the directions. Good luck and hope all works out well
