DUDE!, I got a CORVETTE!
After months of looking, I finally took the plunge and bought my first vette. It's a 1980 model in pretty good shape with 56K original miles on the frame and a little over 5k on a 350 crate engine (original engine blew a coolant line on the interstate and previous owner didn't get it stopped in time before serious overheating occurred). The car has been repainted from its original "Frosty Beige" to "red". Interior is still original in the "Doeskin" color. The interior needs some work (carpet, storage boxes, etc. (mainly sun damage)). I'll be asking a lot of questions over the next few months and probably years so please be patient. Thanks to all of those who have help out so far. Any suggestions, tips, ideas or enhancements are greatly appreciated.

Congrats on the first vette! sounds like a nice ride. post some pics of it soon. Only thing is........the previous owner should have left it beige :rolleyes: (we need some more around here:D )
