Wiper wiring problem
I reposted as it is in the wrong section. Sorry
71 put in new dash and engine harnesses. New wiper motor checked and it works. Checked wiring at switches and have power at both. The are two red/white wires at the wiper door limit switch one is hot all the time. The red/white wire that goes to the wiper motor has no power to it. I tried jumping the two wires and then I get power to the motor red/white wire. When I try to plug it in to the motor, the motor starts buzzing. What am I missing? I have followed Willcox diagrams and have read numerous threads. I have been following the wiring diagrams from Docs.
Also there is no wiper door as the hood was changed before I obtained the car.

2, this is normal... the limit switch breaks power to the motor when it is not engaged.
3, go to the 68 help page on the site.. on the last page you'll find the a chart of what wire has what voltage..
