Since I took the car out today to get smogged I had a chance to drive the car at length with the spreader bar installed - There is a very noticable change to the feel of the car over harsh surfaces and the car feels really good on the cloverleaf.

Well worth the effort.

I think the best would be both solid motor mounts and the spreader bar. I thought we had this sorted out long ago, the solid motor mounts don't make any more vibration, noise or anything negative like that.

The funny thing was my car didn't hardly shake at all at idle because the motor mounts don't let it move. When I put the polys back in back came the fender shake at idle because the engine can now move back and forth on the rubber or poly motor mounts.

The only downside to the solids was an annoying clunk when just shifting normally it eventually got on my nerves. What was happening, because the engine didn't move all the shock from changing gears had to be absorbed by this springs in the clutch and they are pretty damn strong therefore just normal changing of gears I would get a clunk like I was shifting at 5 grand with normal motor mounts.
