Default Water Pump Question

I understand the vette short pump with the 3/4" inch pilot issue, but are there any clearance issues with a long pump and changing to the new brackets/pulleys and using a Dewitts rad/fan combo? Thanks in advance!!

Why not just buy an aftermarket pump that fits?
It would be easier than all the bracket changes.
I picked an aluminum one up on fleabay for about $50.
Hope this helps.

I put a serpentine system in my car, so I now have a long pump. I've got a DeWitt's rad with dual SPAL, and plenty of room in between everything. If the DeWitt's combo is the way you intend to go, using a long pump won't be an issue.

Thank You, that was what I was looking for. Its a ZZ383 and buying brackets and pulleys anyway, hated the idea of doing the pump also. Thanks to both for the quick responses.
