Default Phoenix, AZ area Engine Builder?

Can anyone recommend an engine builder in the Phoenix area?

'69 BB Vert

NOM 454 currently in the car. My diesel truck could beat it any day. This is a weekend driver that will probably never see a track.

Really? Nobody in Phoenix can build a good engine? If there are no recommended builders are there any recommended to stay away from?

I'll give some options I've found in my research. Any experience with them would be appreciated. Otherwise, I'll have to pick one and spend time getting estimates from all not knowing anything about them. I've included their BBB rating, if it was available.

I had mine rebuilt at Performance Chevrolet .

Overall it was a good engine for the price. The guy is very disorganized and will push you aside week after week if you don't hound his *** on a daily basis.

Took him a month and a half to get mine done. But I did get it back, and the quality was acceptable.

He doesn't have a website. Here's the contact info:

2938 W Clarendon Ave
Phoenix, AZ 85017
602-254-9586

Make sure you work a deal to only pay a deposit for parts and not labor, otherwise you'll get backburnered and be waiting forever for an engine.
