Default 1982 Electrical Question

Does anyone know what the small relatively thin rectangular yellow box is under the dash on the drivers side on an 82? AC logo on the box. My parking lights and dash lights won't go out and the dimmer switch is controlling the brightness of the parking lights rather than the dash lights. (weird) In addition to this, my passengers side window which formerly worked now won't go up. I can also hear the buzzer which tells you that you left your lights on altough the headlight switch is pushed all the way in.

Since posting, I have removed the light switch entirely and still the problem exists. I also believe the window problem is a separate issue, because I got it to work intermitently. With the headlight switch out altogether, what would cause the parking lights still to be on? I also removed the radio (aftermarket) from the car.

Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Sharing this in case it helps someone else. The MAP sensor was plugged into to another connector (apparenty 5V hot) behind the glove box. This is a bit strange because it had been plugged in since I rebuilt the car, but the parking lights staying on just manifested itself a few weeks ago. Once the MAP sensor was uplugged the problem went away. Apparently the 82 did not have a MAP sensor and it was meant to be unplugged. Thankfully that's over.
