I put a Steeroids rack in my car arounds 03 or so. I've been running it manual that whole time. I finally decided to install a march serp setup and a pump to it. I bled the system fully. Just sitting with fluid in the rack it seems to have a slow leak right below the yoke cap.
I'm wondering if anyone has had a rack like this that they ran without a pump for years and finally decided to hook up a pump. The rack itself is probably the cheapest part of this system, so if I need to replace it, no big deal, but I'm wondering if maybe there is something that loosens up over time when running it manually.
perhaps. I'll run it for a bit and see what happens. If it doesn't stop leaking I'll just replace the rack. Ironically it's the cheapest part of the whole system. I can get a rebuilt one at Autozone for like 80 bucks.
