You'll need big block pulleys, they're not the same as SB.

Yep, you will need the BB pulleys. Sounds like your off to a good start. Many of the vendors have the pulley and brackets. Zips has a decent diagram and bracket package.
You will also need a short water pump. Depending if you have AC, you will need a 3 groove water pump pulley. Nice looking car. New Zealand.. I heard it is beautiful there. Glad to see the steering wheel is on the correct side

Send some pics of what your working with.

You can reuse the fly wheel, starter, distributor, carb and radiator hoses if you cut them down. I ordered all my brackets from DrRebuild. He has all the diagrams to order what you need but he is only catalog and phone orders. No Internet orders as far as I know. He has a small web page the last time I checked.

Sure, thanks for the advice, emailed ecklers, they said i only needed brackets, will sort some BB pulleys now.
I have a short water pump, going to grab some of thoses xxspower side pipes too.
Imported car from CA last year, turned out better than expected, look as though it was origionally a 435 hp car, so really happy.
Will get a few pics sorted, going to put some AFR's on the old girl get the comp down to pump gas
Yes steering wheel must stay on the left, would have it no other way!!
Yes it is a beautiful country, sady we have had a major earth quake in Feb this year and our city is pretty trashed, most roads are like 4x4 tracks!.
But out of town still some good drives though

Cheers
