Guys, I've already posted this on the General forum but thought I'd drop one here too. Now, before I get started I must admit that I have generally been pretty much opposed to using super-expensive synthetic Lamborghini oil in street-driven cars, but I just HAD to make an exception in this case. When I got home from work today my son had just finished doing an engine and trans oil change on our DD Focus and he told me that while at AutoZone they had a clearance rack full of Royal Purple gallon jugs for $20/ea.(!)- from my experience and from listening to all the oil gurus on this forum I've come to believe RP is just about the Bugatti Veyron of oils so for half-price we went back down there and grabbed three gallons of it!! My Vette's gonna be sitting for awhile this summer anyway while I do the paint job so it seemed like a nice thing to do for my as-yet-unwiped cam lobes., and Father's Day is coming up so my son was kind enough to spend some of his graduation money on lil' ol' ME! I don't know if it was just my local store (Temecula CA) but I'm guessing AZ is discontinuing the stuff so y'all might want to check your local store to see if they have this deal going there...good luck!
