Does anyone have some pics of the original corvette prototypes? I think there were 4 different ones including a wagon. That's the one I am most interested in.
Are you talking about 1953? There was a wagon. The prototype became the Nomad. There was also a fastback. The photos are in many of the Corvette books.
Sorry, no pictures, but this book about corvettes that my photo teacher let me borrow showed a '53 front end on a station wagon(which i think became the nomad), rear mounted engine fastback(which i think became the corvair), and a passenger car(i think).
I have a few pics of the wagon (one is a small pic of it & the other three prototypes) in my "Corvette Chronicle" book. I have to leave for work now, but if no one posts any during the day, I can scan & post them this evening for you.
the wagon c3 make me think to an ad on the french ebay .there is a guy there trying to selling a wagon c3 that also received a wide body kit :lol: :lol: for :lol: 110 000$ :yesnod: :lol:

It's a page from the book "Corvette Chronicle" by James Flammang. It's a pretty good book. Nice illustrations, facts, and world info for each year Corvette.

Where was it I saw a new version of the '53 wagon that had a 53 Vette front end that had been widend and put on a real 55 nomad. It was Black and was KILLER !
