I used seals from Dr. Rebuild (kinda$$). Cleaned off the old advesive with Goof Off (kinda thin but worked well). Learned what I was doing on the first seal. I didn't get it quite positioned right, and the back outer corner was in the way of the triangle-shaped guide... I cut the seal to get it to clear. Second seal went well. First one is starting to split at the front outer corner. Sadly, no one sells just one seal... They didn't leak at the carwash, so I guess that counts for something.
I'll fix it someday...

Ecklers seem to do a drivers side seal as a single but not passenger
They seem to do one pair at $180 and another at $110, the expensive being labelled as 'Latex', anyone know what the difference is?

Stock weatherstripping was latex. Some of the aftermarket variety are not.
Hi G,
The plastic clips are part of the weather strip.
I found that putting the weather strip on in 4 stages worked the best for me. IE. gluing it in 4 stages.
First, the section that's held on by the long black retainer (the section that seals the side window).
Second and third, either the front or rear section, including the 3 clips that go around each center corner.
Last, the easy section that runs front to back in the center.
Not a bad job, but you do need to pay attention.
Regards,
Alan
I used Metro Supersoft brand when I replaced mine. Fit was perfect and no adjustments needed after the replacement.
Not a difficult job. Just take your time.
If any of the old plastic fasteners break off when you are taking off the old weatherstrip, they will rattle around in your T-tops and are near impossible to get out. If that happens, squirt a little glue in in one of the holes in the T-top and shake the T-Top till the broken pieces get covered with the glue, and stick themselves to the inside of the T-top.
