Rebuilding front end on my 76 C3 and noticed a gasket or thin seal between the spindle base and dust shield about 4 inches in diameter. They look ratty and would like replacements. Should I simply make them from a gasket material or purchase? I tried looking for them and canot seem to find anything related. Who sells them?
Make them from stock gasket material, if you don't want to pay the shipping cost on those gaskets. Pretty easy to make if you can trace one that you remove.
[If vendors would ship something like this in a first-class envelope for normal postage, it would make their customers very happy.]

You can cut them out if in a pinch...
Or
If you give Norm a call on Monday I'm sure he can send these first class!
{Gee, it's nice to see that some vendors are actually caring about their customers and the products that they are selling to them!!!} [Not to belabor the point, but......it's about time!!]
P.S. I think the two that have responded on this thread are a couple of the better ones for customer service.
