American Eagle Polished Torque Thrust Wheels with Tires in Excellent Condition
These are Muscle Car and Hot Rod Wheels with bigger tires on rear.
Wheels are 15X7's Tires are 215/60/15 front and 235/60/15 for rears.
They fit all GM Chevy GTO Olds 442 Muscle cars from 1955 to 1975 and
poss later years.. Bolt pattern is 5 on 4 3/4
3 1/2 back space
will these work on my 78

235/60 is going to have a smaller overall diameter, thus changing your speedo reading. You'll be going slower than the speedo shows! Ground clearance will be reduced as well. Rim width reduction is only 1/2" on each side of the wheel! Backspacing requirements can change as rim width changes. Think about how much backspacing would be required if you were using a 5" wheel width! Remember that backspacing is the distance from the wheel mounting surface to the back edge of the wheel lip. What you're concerned about is caliper clearance. Bolt them on and see what happens!
