Default best big block cam
what is your choice on the best big block cam? My combo just ate a lifter and lobe after less than 1000 miles on the motor. I have a Crane with .540 lift, and 238-248 duration @.050. Should I upgrade or get the same? I have to get the paperwork around and make the call tommorrow. This news was so depressing, but I need to get the car back out soon.

Was that a hydraulic lifter cam you had? Were you happy with the cam you had or do you feel that you needed more/less cam?

I was happy with the idle (nice n rough), I just ended up running outta gears, 4 aint enough. yes, it was hydraulic
