Default Centerline- Fuel wheels

Centerline Fuel Wheels 15x8 4.5 backspace, is riding emergency brake bracket an cable on 79 Corvette. What is a good fix for this condition? Emailed Summit Racing if spacers where needed to fix this riding condition. they said it be a few days before they get back with me.

I think I heard of people here cutting it off and putting on the top of the frame. Same area just on top.

Stock backspacing for C3 15x8's is 4", which means your current track widths are 1" less than stock. You can intall 1/2" spacers () for correction or move the park brake cable bracket to the top of the TA if you don't mind the narrower track widths. FWIW, from my experience with many CL classic wheels, that backspacing is very possibly not 4 1/2" exactly.
