Default Fuseable link wire problem

I've got a 77 and the wire with the fusible link has somehow fallen out of the "black box" near the fire wall that alot of other wires go into. It's covered in RTV i believe and cannot figure out exactly where it goes. Does anyone have a picture of where this wire goes? If so it would be so much appreciated. Thank you

Here's the whole manual. I have the manual if you need a close up pic.

THank you for the help, but I was wondering if I could get an actual picture. I couldn't find anything similar to what I'm talking about

the previous owner had done alot of "better" wiring, and now i've got stuff falling apart in places, and wires behind the dash duct taped together and shorting out. If i could just visually see where this wire needs to go, i could just put it back in the spot.

Does your 77 have all these connectors at the bulkhead ,specifically the Tap connector?
77 can be a little unpredictable when it comes to wiring,it can have some 76 and 78 stuff.
Are you sure the wire is a fusible link. I'll try to find a bulkhead diagram but I don't have a 77 shop manual.

after looking at the picture again, it does look like that, except none of those connectors are in my car. and wires arent wrapped. So now it looks like that fusible link wire doesn't go into the bulkhead, but goes into the wire bundle and leads elsewhere. I'm gonna have to re-look at everything. I do recall another red wire not connected to anything, but the car still started while it wasn't connected. now it doesn't with the fusible link wire disconnected as well

sounds like you will need to dissconnect battery, and then take the box apart,
you should be able to see where the wire broke or fell off.
the black stuff is factory sealant, where gloves and clean the connections.

I'll get you some pics of what your going to see. It will take a few min.
I do think ,unless your sure the wire came from the box or bulkhead, taking it apart is premature.

Here is a thread with a full restoration on a 77. I can see he has the wiring harness out , maybe he will take some pics of it for you.
