Engine swap question
Hello there, Yes I know I'm a newbie to the forum and maybe this question has been answered in some way or another with older information. Regardless I'd rather not spend my afternoon searching for the information in old threads.
Okay so here is my story, my dad bought a 1979 C3 corvette last year, the original engine has been giving us some issues this year. Now I'm going to be starting an apprenticeship as a mechanic soon but I don't have the experience to do the tear down and rebuild just yet.
I plan on buying a new engine instead, and just swapping it out. I have read and heard that most chevy big blocks will fit the mounts no problem but I just wanted to know for sure if this engine will fit.
