Recently while driving, I noticed that when I let go of the steering wheel, steering wheel would turn to the right and drift to the right. Took it in for a frontend alignment and all checked out ok. The mechanic told me (front end specialist) that he believed the problem was the power steering and that it could be as simple as the fluid being low (have not checked yet due to having to remove the alt to check the power steering fluid). Is this possible? Any other ideas?

Being that your alignment is 100% then you might see if the the "Control Valve" is balanced.
That valve if not balance will cause your Vette to pull to one side or the other.
Jim Shea has a paper one that, I'm sure he will post it if needed.
You can get the cap off the PS pump and top it off with a long funnel if needed.
I recently replaced my power steering setup and forgot to balance the control valve and it did the same thing. Its really easy to do it. Here is a link to Zip's directions:
