I remember in the late '90's and early '00s ppl. here were having problems with setting up their Demons, might have been quality control issues just don't remember. Did that all get sorted out? That waswhy i had gone with a Holley 750 mech. dp even though the Demons flowed better.

Good news I have had a Speed Demon 650 with mechanical secondaries on my 61 with a 383 for almost 8 years and I haven't even had to adjust the idle. Great carb that flows extremely well.
I have 2 Demon 750 dp and love them that much i would cuddle them in bed if they were just a bit softer. been going flawless for a total of 8 years now.
Was just on their site last night while looking for a new fuel filter element for my BG filter. I like my Demon much better than the Holley it replaced. Glad to see they're coming back
**On a side note, just ordered a new Holley electric fuel pump and regulator to switch from the mech Holley pump. When looking at the regulator mounting holes, I noticed that they are not tapped, really , suppose to just use their (self tapping) screws . I tapped then and it will be mounted safely with proper threads. Holley just has sooo many areas for improvement yet they choos to ignore them.**
