Power door locks on my 1980 work only one way ( lock only with both switches ) When trying to unlock there is no clicking noise like no power to switch and the interior lights do not dimm like they should when there is power. I have tested the switch with ohm meter and pig tail for power and looks like every thing is good. Actuators are easy to move.
The driver side switch and pigtail checked OK , so I did the same to the passenger side and I had to look real close but found the blue wire that controlled the unlock was broken inside the plastic connector. I made a new connection and hot glued back into connector, put back door and it works great. IF I have that issue again I will order new pigtail.
