my 81 shifts fine just servesed tranny drive shaft and rear end seem ok ! but sometimes get a hard slam like a rear bearing or the drive shaft is hitting the floor! i just put in a new monospring and ias shocks plus new swaybar and 18 in weels with proxes tires so it handles fantastic compared to before . also is it worth going with a 4 spd auto ??? to drop rpms on the hwy and save some gas and love the afterburners they soundgood and the car runs better !!!
