Power window switch removal

I own a 1976 Corvette and i need to know "How To Remove The Power Window Switches " loacted the the brake counsel. Do you pry the switch fron the power source? Does the switch unplug?

I do not want to destroy any on the components.

Please advise. Thanks you for any assistance offered.

If it's like the 80, there is a screw on each end holding it in place. Remove it,then pull off the electrical connector which just plugs over some prongs on the underside of the switch.

First, take off the pb console. There are two screws on each side. There is also a bolt in the back that can be accessed thru the jack compartment.

Then tilt it forward to get the slide out of the groove for the handle.

The harness can then be pulled off the switch.

The switch is held into the console with a bracket and screws.
