Default A/C removal

I'm in the middle of a cam swap and I am also removing the a/c since it doesn't work anyway. The compressor and condensor are already out, but what else do I need to remove/change? Thanks in advance.

If your in the process of pulling everthing out then you still have the accumulator and the evaporator to go.

If you want the car to run a little cooler and remove any and all excess weight associated with the A/C, remember the consdensor core and evaporator (in front of the radiator). I pulled an entire system from my '71 without removing the hood (or scratching the paint).

Since you may change your mind or sell the car some day (you never know), be sure to keep all bolts, washers, o-rings, etc.

You and I are on opposite ends of the spectrum. I just installed a new pump and did some hose modifacations. Nice and cold A/C :) I really need it in the climate I am in!

Are there any aftermarket providers of A/C systems? Previous owner gutted A/C from my 77 and I too would like KOOL air....

Vintage air makes aftermarket setups for C-2's, but not C-3's. Stock air can be made to keep your car VERY cool. Just do a search and load up on info.
