Default Electrical thingy - What is this?

Was cleaning up the electrical mess in my center console this weekend and can't figure out what this is?

I'll bet your wipers don't work to well.

Actualy....they don't.

Is this the wiper relay then? Some previous owner had disassembled it and had broken it open. I put it back together best I could and had to use electrical tape to hold it together.

That said, would this little box be the issue with me not having any delay or multispeed in my wipers? My wipers seem to work on slow and slower. When it rains, the lower friction speeds them up a bit, but otherwise they are slow and there is no delay function.

So would replacing this box fix my wiper issues?

That is the wiper controller , good chance it would fix your issues but the switch can also cause problems.
Go to Willcox's site and see if he has the controllers. I think he has a troubleshooting help paper on the controller.

Pulse? I don't need no stinking pulse!
$350!!!!!?

For that price, I think I'll take a look at my switch. I've got two speeds and wash, just no pulse/intermittant.

Thanks for the links. I can handle the switch cleaning in Dale's instructions. Just had the gauges out too to change all the bulbs. Wish I hadn't put them back in now. Oh well. Looks like a winter project.
