wilwood master
1970 convertible without power brakes. Want to change to Wilwood master cylinder and stay without power brakes. Anyone done it? Did it bolt up to the firewall or need modification? What bore did you chose? Anything I should look out for? Do you like it? Any information would be great and pictures if you have any. Thanks...Matt

Use part number 260-8555-X. Stay with a 1" bore since you want to stay w/non power brakes. It will bolt up. I've used them several times. Sorry no pics. I'm waiting for a chrome booster to come in and than I have to put a polished Wilwood MC on an 81 I have here.

I just put on a Wilwood MC a month or two ago. Everything bolts right up including the brake lines. I'll take a pic tomorrow night.

By the way, make sure you get the gasket that goes between the MC and firewall before you do the install. It doesn't come with the MC.

Thanks for the info. Do I get the gasket from Wilwood or any parts store?

Any parts store or one of the Corvette vendors will have it. I got mine at Corvette Central along with a few other parts.
