low mounted alternator
Has anyone found an alternator bracket to mount the alternator down where the power steering pump used to be? I've seen some on summit, but didn't know if they will work or not.

I knew a friend who said he had this bracket on a '78, and said it was very close to the UCA, but fit. I never seen it personally, but maybe you could call the vendor to see if they know for sure.

I've got my alternator mounted really low...It's one of the Denso mini alternators ...but the engine is a BMW V12.
So - I don't see why it wouldn't work.
I know coming from me- a guy putting a V12 in an original big block car- Why do you want to move it down low? Clean up the engine bay? Make it tougher to replace? Just saying....
