The openings are 2 1/16" the speedo and tach are 5".
I thought '68-'72 (& up ?) were the 'larger style....unless it's an illusion - I know the clear covers are oblong. :yesnod:

As all are saying 2 1/6".I have just received the last of my Autometer Phantom White Faces Mondy of this week.Ihave mounted the Speedo and the Tach and I am working with the center guages now,I hope to have them in over the weekend and not to sound geekish but they are the coolest..I have a digital camera and if you would like let me know and I can send some pics...
By the way if anyone else is interested (I have a 74 w/air)I also made a "white face" set up for the a/c control head and I have to say it turned out pretty cool too.
I wil try to get some pics ready over the weekend and some detailed info for anyone who is interested,the console guages are pretty simple but the tach and speedo takes some modification so anyone interested let me know... :smash:
