Default performer intake leaking from the block off plate

hey guys, i found antifreeze on my intake, and it looks like its coming from the block off plate. do i need a different kind of intake gasket, or do i just cover the thing in some RTV, torque it down and forget about it?

Default Which/where block off plate?

Do u mean the EGR block off plate? Or the hot air choke block off plate? Or the exhaust cross over block off plate on the intake flanges?

Let us know which one/where it is and i won't have to guess at all of them,

If you have water coming out of the hot air choke chamber there must be a crack in the manifold. That area should be dry.

i may have jumped the gun a bit on this.

i found antifreeze leaking from my Tstat neck this evening, and the fan was blowing it back. when i took off the block off plate, there was water in there, but it appears to have been only condensation. quite a bit, actually, but it was just water. ill keep an eye on things over the next few days.

it was getting late when i saw this last night, and i didnt have enough time to dig into it. i just saw antifreeze on the intake, the block off plate was wet, and inside had fluids in it, so i had assumed thats where it was coming from.
