Headlights won't pop up??
Recently purchased a well used '76 and am new to the Corvette world. Bubba has worked on it and sadly I must continue that trend for a while anyway. Question is this, I pulled the front carpets out of the car to work on the floor pans and now the lights won't open. They worked earlier and the idiot light on the dash says the lights are on when I pull the switch. Any headlight related vacume hoses under the dash or could I have dislodged a fuse or ???? A point in the right direction would be great.

There are some hoses under the dash. Acouple for the headlights go to the override switch under the column (the one on the left). Another goes to the headlight switch itself. I'm assuming 76 is the same as mine.
I believe the light on the dash means that the lights are on but the headlight doors arent open.
