When my cars are sitting I don't want anything going on with the battery.
I flip the disconnect switch and hook up a Battery Tender every few months.
Works on my lawn tractor too...

Yeah...thats what i luv about my genius. the quick disconnects make it easy to switch between vehicles. i switch between my john deere tractor, polaris utv and mustang. works great. kind of the same thing your doing steve.

Switched from using a Battery Tender to the Battery Minder because of it's purported ability to desulfate the battery.
