Default what about new Camshaft

I have some trouble with my #8 cylinder so if i need to make some head or camshaft work i would like to use a bigger cam.

My actual setup:

ZZ430
Horsepower: 430 @ 5800 RPM
Torque: 430 Ft. Lbs. @ 4000
Comp. Ratio: 9.6:1
Camshaft: LT4 HOT cam, hydraulic roller tappet
Lift: .525” I, .525” E; Duration @ .050: 218° I, 228° E
Centerline: 109° ATDC (After Top Dead Center) intake, 115° BTDC exhaust
Cylinder Heads: Fast Burn, aluminum,
23° valve angle, Valve Diameter (Intake/Exhaust): 2.00” / 1.55”, Chamber Volume: 62 cc
Rocker Arms: 12370839 GM 1.6:1 self aligning roller rockers

i would like tu go to ZZ465
Compression Ratio: 9.6:1
Horsepower: 465 @ 6200 RPM
Torque: 440 ft/lbs @ 4600 RPM
Cylinder Heads: Aluminum Fast Burn, 62cc
Rocker Arms: 1.6 Ratio, Roller Rockers
Valve Springs: 1.250 in. Diameter (i need to upgrade tocomp cams)
Camshaft: 234 / 242
Camshaft Lift (in.) I/E: 0.575 / 0.595

can you tell me about idle and how it will live (race beast engine or soft street engine)
Or have you a better set up (camshaft ,.....)

Ps: i have a manual tranny T56

With 9.6 to 1 compression that big of cam change will drasically affect your midrange and bottom end while only increasing torque 10 ft lbs. You will drop your dynamic compression quite a bit. Also you will not be in your power curve of the cam when cruising. Not a good tradeoff in my opinion. See the thread "Help me build my 383" by C3 Paul. The cam he has selected is a little lower duration with more lift. With 1.6 rockers you will need the check piston to valve clearances carefully and see if Comp has a beehive spring for that lift. If your pulling upward of 6200 RPM with high lift beehive springs really make a difference on the valvetrain stability. That said with a 3.55 gear and T-56 a bigger cam will be streetable and you have the gearing for it.

to much cam for low compression motor. You should have about 10.5 to 1 for a cam tha thas that much duration.
