Default really dumb question

i just got my '74 vette....i am new to this car and was wondering where should i jack up this thing, not "where" -- i have a garage...LOL!!! but where are the "good spots" underneath to place my jack....i don't wanna mess anything up down there. :nopity :sleep: :confused:

No such thing as a dumb question...dumb if you don't ask :yesnod:

The instruction should be where the jack is...the compartment behind the passenger seat. It will be on the lid and the jack secured on the bottom.
At least that is where it is on my 77.
