Can someone please post a picture of the washer/nut setup for the middle bolt on a 73 or like hardtop. What I am seeing at the vendors doesn't seem right and I need the right setup. I have the ferrule just no nut and washer.

Thanks in advance
If you have the middle bolt attached to the HT then I believe it's just the washer and the nut. The side two are enough of a PITA. The middle I couldn't even get to because the folding top all but obscures it. Not worth the trouble IMO-- unless maybe for NCRS.
I'm not sure if this will help or not, but here's a shot of the center bolt on my '69 HT. The nut is very large for the size of the stud. That's the way it came. I had to lift the deck with the top attached to get the shot, and couldn't grab a wrench to see what size the nut is. It is OEM though. There is a flat washer you can see, and perhaps a lock washer too, not sure about that.
Thanks for your responses guys, Pete that is exactly what i needed to see, and know. You are a good man. I'm having it judged in a couple of weeks and needed to know how the OEM setup was and couldn't really find a good shot to see it, but now I do.
AIM will show it if it was correct for your model year. Owner's manual might even have a pic and talk about installation.
Unless your car was received without a folding top and you can document that, for judging purposes you have the option of having the car judged with only the folding top.
