Default 1968 Seat Spacers?

Anybody have an idea as to where I can purchase a set of seat spacers for a 1968 convert?

My situation is that my wife does not like the raked back angle of the seat, insisting on some solution B4 any long distance trips are undertaken.

While checking the owners manual (page 33) I am told that a set of seat spacers, one round, one rectangular, are provided in the glove compartment, each providing 2 degrees of adjustment. Never mind debating the term "glove compartment" in a '68 Corvette, after 43 years and a few owners the spacers are gone.

So where can I purchase replacements? It would seem that somebody makes them but after some searching they failed to drop into my clueless outstretched hands.

Leaving her behind for the long trips is not an option!!

No Surrender,

paul

Corvette Central has the 68-69 kit (the 70-76 kit is different), part # 483208. They sell for about $29.

Thanks. I saw those but didn't think they were what I was looking for. They look to be a bolt-on update, I was expecting something that dropped in place.

Now back to the online catalogs to spend more Corvette $$$. Life is good.

ZIP Products also carries them. Check with Willcox; they may have them.

Nope, they were designed to be added under the screwed down seat bumpers.
