triangular air filter
hi? i have a 82 corvette with a small block engine. i have a edelbrock performer intake with a edelbrock carb. will the triangular air filter work with my car? hood clearance issue

What type of hood are you running now? The 82 crossfire hood was one year only and had air intake routing for the X-fire.

I used 1 temporay with no hood during my build process, it will burn, and so will your hood!
and the rest of your Corvette.

Should fit, but as said not a good choice. If it burns a mess in carb too.

Round is best. If low enough still fine though. You need to check clearance & give nos. on yours since you have a carb on 82.

Yes the triangular fits in a tight spot, but the black foam deteriorates and turns into black crumbs.
With a backfire it will melt some of the material.
Took me five years to figure it out
